I ought to stop listening to the news.

On the way to work today I made the mistake of listening to the news.

Apparently somebody has bought a painting for £200 million ($300 million US).

Look, here it is ——–>waste of money

Think of what you could do with £200 million.

Think of all the starving African children you could feed, or supply with HIV medication.

Think of all the homeless people that you could clothe and feed.

Think of all the charities for sick children, the mentally ill, animals that need rehoming, war veterans, etc, etc.

No — I have to buy a painting.

I hope you’re proud of yourself.
